Yes, I caved. Why do you ask? Well there have been so many comments already about how craptasic the book is that I wanted to know if I was wasting my money by pre-ordering it.

So I just read the first ~~seven~~ ten(?) chapters of Breaking Dawn and I'm in a laughing fit as I type this. It is worse than any of us put together could have possibly imagined. Someone at lion_lamb said, "Imagine the worst fanfics together and you have BD." and OMG was she right. It's just insane. I mean I realize that Twilight was nothing but a glorified harlequin romance with a few twists (and minus the sex), but BD has so much cheesy crap it's ridiculous. I'm actually having a hard time believing what I just read...

SMeyer WTF were you on when you wrote this crapfest? Good lord, I'm embarrassed to be a part of this fandom now.

And the really bad news is that, no I cannot cancel my order, it's already too late. I'm screwed.
